POLL: Which Was Your Favourite Series Of Big Brother? - The Results

Our poll asked, 'Which was your favourite series of Big Brother?' and people voted throughout the year, but it was BB11 that came top because most people voted after the last series ended. Josie Gibson was a firm favourite right from the start, winning 37% of the vote (down from 40%+ before Celebrity Big Brother started on C5).

BB7 with Pete Bennett and BB5 with Nadia Almada were 2nd and 3rd, as voters seemed to love the events from those series. Brian Dowling's BB2 was surprisingly near the bottom of the poll, even though he was crowned 'Ultimate Housemate' last year. Here are your results:

UBB: Brian Questions Josie's Big Brother Romance

Day 92: Ultimate Big Brother housemate Brian Dowling has questioned the romance between BB11 housemates Josie and John James. He seemed to doubt John James in the relationship, while Nick and Michelle spoke quite positively about the couple and Victor believed Josie was in love with John James.

"What do you think Josie's doing now?" mused Brian, as Michelle told him that she thought the BB11 winner would be spending time with John James. "Do you think they're still together?" asked Brian, who looked rather surprised.

"It's probably their wedding day," Michelle joked.

"But do you really? Did you believe them?" he probed, as Victor replied: "I believed her."

"I think she loves him," agreed Nick. "So why did he never kiss her? It's so weird," noted Brian.

"That's the difference between men and women," explained Michelle, who famously pursued fellow BB5 housemate Stuart relentlessly during their series. "People always say that I'm the bunny boiler, but me and Stu were together for, like, a year afterwards."

BB11: Big Brother Viewing Figures - Day 69 - 77

Big Brother 11 finished on a high as Josie was crowned the winner, showing a year on year increase of almost 1.4m and continued the good viewing figures for the eleventh series of Big Brother.

Day 77 (Tues 24 Aug) FINAL: 3.931 million viewers and a 17.6% audience share over nearly three hours from 8pm. A further 145,000 (0.8%) watched an hour later on Channel 4 +1.

This was well up on last year's Big Brother final, which averaged 2.6 million (12%) and 2.7 million (16%) across two separate instalments on Friday, 4 September.

Day 76 (Mon 23 Aug): 2.57 million viewers and a 14% audience share from 10pm. A further 196,000 (2%) watched an hour later on Channel 4 +1.

Day 75 (Sun 22 Aug): 2.2 million (9.1%), C4+1 - 470,000 (2.5%)

Day 74 (Sat 21 Aug): 1.8 million (8.8%), C4+1 - 216,000 (1.2%)

Day 73 (Fri 20 Aug) QUADRUPLE EVICTION: Big Brother was watched by 2.95m (12.8%), with many returning at 10.30pm as 2.91m (19.2%) tuned in. Another 183,000 and 121,000 tuning in on C4+1

UBB: Josie Leaves Ultimate Big Brother House

Day 79: After an agonising two days inside the Ultimate Big Brother house, Josie has left the house as she struggled to adjust. Since Tuesday's BB11 final, Josie has been emotional after being briefly reunited with John James. Inside the house she confessed to missing John James, feeling like a nobody and finding the new housemates strange. Breaking down in tears several times, Josie finally cracked and quit the Big Brother house just after 3pm today.

After walking out of the House through the camera runs, she ran straight into the arms of her man who was at Elstree Studios today for a task.

UBB: Josie Wants To Leave Big Brother House

Day 79: The novelty of being surrounded by former Big Brother housemates has worn off for Josie and now the BB11 winner wants out! Late into the night, a tearful Josie made her way to the Diary Room to speak to Big Brother.

'I can't handle it anymore' sobbed the Bristolian winner. When asked by Big Brother just what exactly she couldn't handle, she replied 'All of it. I just can't handle it'.

Big Brother reassured Josie, and reminded her that she was 'a winner', however a woeful Jose said that she 'doesn't feel like one'.

'I went out there and seen all my friends and family, and then I've seen John and I've just had to walk straight back in here', she wept. 'It doesn't feel like the same House anymore'.

Big Brother reminded Josie that it is the same House that she has been living in for the past 12 weeks, yet Josie said it felt like the walls were 'closing in' on her.


'You'd think I'd be happy, wouldn't you?' she questioned to herself.

Having expressed her concerns to Brian that she feels like 'a nobody', Josie confided her fears to Big Brother. 'I do miss my old housemates', admitted the blubbing blonde. 'I'm not like these people. They're all celebrities. I'm normal'.

Josie declared that she wanted to leave the House. 'I feel really trapped in here. I just want to go'.

Weeping into her tissue, Josie repeated 'I really want to go'. Will she walk out of the house? Stay tuned!

Day 77: Josie won the Final of Big Brother 11 and this is the video of her as she meets Davina McCall and the crowds outside the house. BB11: Big Brother Final

Day 77: Josie Gibson was crowned the winner of Big Brother 11, with an impressive 77.5% of the public vote. Winning a £100,000, Josie told Davina she would give £20,000 to charity. She became one of the greatest housemates ever as she entertained the nation with her straight talking and simple ways. Viewers became addicted to the relationship between Josie and John James as it grew over the summer, although at times the relationship became quite fiery!

Crowds cheered as she was interviewed by Davina McCall, who told her she was beautiful on the inside and outside. John James was on hand to hug and kiss her before she re-entered the house for Ultimate Big Brother.

Who would have thought Dave could have finished second in BB11? Normally the religious housemates are annoying but Dave managed to win the housemates over and us with his weird and wonderful ways. Talking about the glory didn't put us off as we got to know the Welshman more and more. He proved he was up for a laugh and didn't shirk away from the tasks set by Big Brother. With 9.1% of the public vote, Dave was able to leave the house with his head held high - he did himself proud.

Mario entered the Big Brother house as a mole and left BB11 in third place, after having a roller coaster journey during his 77 days in the house. No other housemate had so many highs and lows as Mario and no other housemate got so naked as Mario. He received 5.1% of the vote and Davina asked him if he was really a nudist at heart after discussing his large left testicle. Mario said that he wasn't a nudist and he was shocked Big Brother showed his nude stunts.

JJ finished fourth on 4.5% of the public vote, just ahead of Andrew. He entered the house on Day 45 after being picked by the other housemates, as one of three new housemates. He quickly became friends with John James and caught the eye of Corin, but things turned sour very quickly between JJ and Corin.


Andrew came fifth with just 3.9% of the public vote and was greeted by the cheering crowd and a warm smile. The geek proved to be a winner in the house after arriving on Day 31 and coming out of his shell to become a great housemate to watch as he gave 100% during each task.

BB11: Bookies Big Brother Winner - Final Prediction

Day 77: It's the Big Brother 11 Final tonight and the bookies are predicting just one clear winner. Following Friday's shock evictions from the BB11 house, Josie has become the clear favourite to win during tonight's Final.

BB11: Simon Webb Sings In Big Brother House

Day 77: He was known for his talent in boy band Blue, but now Simon Webb proved he has solo talent as he went into the Big Brother house to perform during their 'Perfect Day'. Josie was especially elated after the singer gave her a pair of designer sunglasses.

Simon Webb played tracks from his new album and complimented Josie on her new look, although she called him Lee on his departure!

BB11: Josie Continues Rant

Day 71: It's all over between Josie and John James as the fallout continues. As John James went into the Nest for a chat with Big Brother, Josie was outside in the garden claiming he was just siding with Sam for air time.

She then got up and went into the Nest and continued her rant at John James saying, "Have your little rant and slag me right off. But the fact of the matter is you switched on me ..... you didn't even switch on Sam Pepper."

In emotional scenes, Josie has just told Corin that she wishes she had never got involved with John.

Corin countered the bubbly Bristolian by saying that she was only saying that because she was upset and angry.

The busty babe went on to comfort Josie and told her that she would only think bad things when she is in a mood like this. She also said that Josie should wait until things died down and have a word with John.

Corin carried on by saying that Josie obviously feels let down by the whole situation and that she would feel the same in her position.

The ongoing argument between John and Josie seems to have brought the only two remaining girls in the House closer together.

BB11: Josie Dumps John James

Day 71: The arguments between Josie, John James, Corin and Sam boiled over into today as Josie dumped John James, accusing him and Sam of ganging up on Corin yesterday. She continued to defend her friend Corin as John James threatened to walk out of Big Brother once again.

Josie told John James she doesn't want to speak to him anymore and she also said to John: 'Me and you are done'.

The Bristolian went on to tell John that she can't be with a man who treats women badly. John was stunned by what Josie said and claimed that he never treats women in the wrong way.

Sam Pepper soon became involved in the argument and told Josie to be angry with him but not to bring John into it. Sam pleaded with Josie not to fall out with John but he was swiftly rejected by the buxom babe.

John eventually apologised to Josie but she said that the pair aren't strong enough to be together if he is going to stick up for someone else rather than her.

BB11: Rate Your Housemates Results

Day 70: The Rate Your Housemates results are in and one or two of the Big Brother housemates were quite upset with their positions. John James, Sam and Corin were the only ones to successfully complete the task. John James was the overall winner with a time of just over two minutes, and won a prize which allowed him to send some of his clothing to be dry cleaned.

"Do you think that's why me and Sam don't get on? We're at two different ends of the spectrum," asked Josie. "We're Yin and Yang," replied Sam, who appeared to remain unfazed at what people thought of him.

BB11 POLL: Who Do You Want To Win Big Brother 11?

Day 69: Hundreds of you have already voted in our poll to find out who YOU want to win Big Brother 11. At the moment it is virtually neck and neck between Sam Pepper and Josie as just a few votes separate the pair. They have double the votes of John James, who is currently third place with one time favourite Corin in fourth and JJ is in 5th place.

If your voting is correct, then it looks like Mario, Andrew, Dave and Steve could be leaving the BB11 house on Friday during the quadruple eviction. The housemates still have a few days to win over fans and viewers and save themselves from eviction. The winner will win £100,000 and remain in the BB11 house for the 'Ultimate Big Brother' final, completing with former BB contestants.

BB11: Josie Makes Wins Pass To Big Brother Final

Day 67: Josie was shocked and delighted to find out she would be in the final of Big Brother 11 after housemates were given just 1 minute to select a housemate most deserving of a place in the final. Davina McCall shocked housemates by delivering the news that the final will take place sooner than they thought - Tuesday 24th August.

Andrew suggesting that they vote in a similar way to when they had chosen Jo, JJ and Laura to enter the house three weeks ago. Going around the group, there were occasional hand raises for Mario, Corin and JJ, with most housemates raising their hands for Josie. Josie will now be in the final and have a chance of staying in the house to compete in Ultimate Big Brother with previous BB housemates and celebrities.

BB11: Josie And Sam Listen In On Boys Conversation

Day 66: It's all been tears and arguments today after Josie and Sam listened in on a conversation between John James, JJ and Dave. The lads were in the shower having a dig at Sam, who unknown to them was hid behind the sofa with Josie while the trio spoke candidly about their feelings about him. The conversation also touched on Josie's about-turn on her feelings towards Sam so both had a vested interest in the boys' chat.

The duo heard nearly the whole conversation and whispered to each other their own feelings about what was being said. At first they giggled and found the whole thing quite funny but towards the end it became apparent that Sam was not at all happy.

In an expletive filled rant against John James he called him 'fake' and said 'I thought he was supposed to be my friend'.

He then told Josie he was going to confront him... Next came a huge argument with John!!

Day 62: Josie and Sam have buried the hatchet and seem to be getting along better in the Big Brother house, but the pair still have a mischievous side. BB11 POLL: Best Body Poll Results

Big Brother fans voted in our 'Which Housemate Has The Best Body' Poll and almost half of you agreed that Aussie housemate John James was the fittest with boxer JJ second with 31%. The top female housemate was Corin on 24%, as viewers gave their approval of the busty favourite.

Other housemates all lagged behind, only Dave failed to get a single vote in the BB11 Poll. Josie and Rachel were joint fourth, followed by evicted housemate Ben on 4%. Sadly Andrew, Mario and Jo got just 2% of the vote and Steve got just 1 vote.
