Bookies favourite to win Big Brother 9 Michael, beat off the competition to become this year's Big Brother runner - up with 48.7% of the vote. The Scot had been a long time favourite to take home the £100,000 prize money when Kathreya slipped down in the public estimation and finally evicted on Tuesday.
It was a close battle between Mikey and Rachel, but Michael lost out to the eventual winner after the public decided he deserved to be runner up, after maintaining a "no nonsense" approach from beginning to end. He never shied away from Tasks and was always prepared to speak his mind. Michael gave his opinions, even if it meant he would be unpopular with the housemates.
