Darnell opened up to Big Brother housemates in an conversation about his life outside the BB9 house. Speaking to Rachel, Kat and Dale about his worry about losing everything once he leaves the BB9 house. Rachel and Kat offered words of comfort and support. Rachel said she wished more guys were like him and she loved the way he used his musical talents inside the Big Brother house. Darnell said his girlfriend was an avid Big Brother viewer and so would be getting to know him more than ever before, so he was worried how he would come across on TV. Darnell was also aware that his employer could let him go if he did anything that the press didn't approve of. Dale joined in saying outside the BB house he had no money, no Uni.
