CBB7: Day 2 Viewing Figures

After an impressive launch on Sunday, Celebrity Big Brother 7 continued to provide good viewing figures for Channel 4. The 10pm slot had 3.4m viewers with a further 156,000 watching on C4+1. Audience share for the episode was 18% (up 6.7% year on year).

Year on year the CBB7 viewing figures were up by almost 700,000 against CBB6 Saturday (Day 2) - 2.72m (11.3%) last year.

CBB7: Day 11 Viewing Figures

On at the earlier time of 8pm to make way for Slumdog Millionaire (4.1 million viewers, 19%), Celebrity Big Brother was watched by 2.83m (10.8%) and another 339,000 on C4+1. Housemates continued their Shopping Task at Last Legs Resident Care Home, only to find out they had failed the Task and would have to live on rations. Tensions rose as Vinnie called a house meeting to expose the Food Thief.

Viewing figures were up slightly for the same night year on year on Day 14 CBB6 was viewed by 2.75m (11.9%). Tonight's highlights show returns to it's usual 10pm slot.

CBB7: Day 19 Viewing Figures

Day 19 in the CBB7 house and 2.71m (15%) viewers tuned in as Sisqo and Vinnie clashed in the continuing battle between the celebrities.

Last year the viewing figures for the Thursday show were 2.37m (10.2%), 336,000 (C4+1) on Day 15. The viewing figures for CBB7 have constantly out performed CBB6 as the public continue to show an interest in the long running reality show.

CBB7: Viewing Figures Day 13 - 18

Here are the CBB7 viewing figures from Day 13 to Day 18:

Day 13 Fri 15th Jan: Eviction highlights - 3.3m (12%) (203,000 C4+1 )
Katia and Heidi Eviction Interviews - 3.1m (16%) (252,000 C4+1)

Day 14 Sat 16th Jan: 2.3m (9.4%)

Day 15 Sun 17th Jan: 2.5m (9%) in the 8pm hour, with another 504,000 watching on Channel 4 +1

Day 16 Mon 18th Jan: 2.1m (8%) in the 8pm highlights show, with another 507,000 on Channel 4 +1.
Lady Sov Eviction Interview at 10.20pm had 2.7 million and 14%, with 159,000 more on Channel 4 +1

Day 17 Tues 19th Jan: 2.7m and 15% share, with 292,000 tuning in on Channel 4+1

Day 18 Wed 20th Jan: 2.58m (17.2%) viewers tuned in at 22:20 as the Tree of Temptation worked on Dane.

CBB7: Day 4 Viewing Figures

Celebrity Big Brother 7 was watched by 3.02m (15%) at 10pm last night as Vinnie Jones birthday passed almost un-noticed. Viewing figures for CBB7 rose slightly on Day 3 (2.97m) but down on last year's Day 4, which had 3.34m (13.1%). Audience share was up year on year as the final series of Celebrity Big Brother continues to grip the public.

CBB7: Day 26 Viewing Figures

Davina McCall entering the Celebrity Big Brother house helped boost viewing figures on Day 26. The highlights programme at 9pm on Channel 4 held 3.24m (13%) viewers captive as Davina's time in the Big Brother house provided hilarious entertainment. A further 416,000 tuned in at 10pm on Channel 4+1.

Thursday night's penultimate show of the series matched the Double Eviction viewing figures on Wednesday as the viewing public continue to show loyal support during this final series of Celebrity Big Brother.

CBB7: Day 12 Celebrity Big Brother Viewing Figures

Back on at it's usual 10pm slot, Celebrity Big Brother was riding high on the ratings as 3.11m and one of it's highest audience share of the series with 16.2% and another 260,000 tuning in on C4+1. Viewers saw Vinnie lay into housemates as Food Wars continued with Lady Sov tucking into some corned beef. The series has captured the attention of the public, who have been talking about Big Brother once again.

Year on year viewing figures were significantly up on Thurs 15th Jan 2008 (Day 15) - 2.37m (10.2%), 336,000 (C4+1) had tuned in.

CBB7: Latest Celebrity Big Brother Viewing Figures

Celebrity Big Brother was watched by 3.4m (17%) on Friday night as Ivana Trump surprised housemates by entering the CBB7 house during a magic trick performed by Sisqo and Lady Sov. This was up on last year's first eviction on Day 8, where 2.23m (13.3%) had tuned in to watch Lucy Pinder lave CBB6.

Earlier in the evening, the highlights show with Davina McCall had 3 million viewers (10%), down 4% and 450,000 on last year but continuing to maintain a healthy audience for Channel 4. Another 420,000 viewers also tuned in on C4+1.

Traditionally the weekend viewing figures for Big Brother dip, yet CBB7 is proving popular with viewers, remaining Channel 4's top show on 2.5 million (10%) and 446,000 an hour later on Channel 4+1. This was up on the same Saturday last year, where 2.19m (9.3%) viewed CBB6 Day 9.

Sunday also proved a winner for Big Brother with 2.7m viewers (9%) tuning in at 9pm watching the highlights and a massive 587,000 on C4+1. (Last year: Sun 11th Jan (Day 10) - 2.23m (8.7%), 350,000 on C4+1).

CBB7: Celebrity Big Brother Final Viewing Figures

The final of Celebrity Big Brother proved a hit with viewers as 4 million tuned in as Alex Reid was announced the winner of the final series. The final gained 500,000 on last year where Ulrika Johnson won CBB6.

Earlier in the evening 3.61m (14.2%) watched as Stephanie, Jonas and Vinnie were evicted, another 191,000 tuned in on C4+1. The 10pm final between Dane and Alex kept 4.04m (19.8%) watching, with a further 272,000 an hour later on C4+1. The programme peaked with 4.2m (22%) between 22:15 and 22:45 on Channel 4, meanwhile Big Brother's Big Mouth on E4 drew healthy 785,000 at 23:05.

Overall this series of Celebrity Big Brother was up an average of 100,000 more viewers than the last series on 3.2m per episode. To read more on all the viewing figures during CBB7 click HERE.

CBB7: Day 3 Viewing Figures

As expected, viewing figures for Celebrity Big Brother 7 have begun to settle just like the snow around the UK. Yet it was still the highest rated show on Channel 4 last night, being watched by 2.97m (14% audience share).

This is very slightly up on Day 3 of CBB6 last year where Sunday's ( Day 3) CBB6 had 2.85m (11.1%) at 9pm.

CBB7:Celebrity Big Brother Viewing Figures

The Day 10 highlights show was shown an hour earlier than previous nights and may be the reason why Celebrity Big Brother dipped slightly in the ratings as 2.8 million (11%) in the 9pm slot.

Celebrity Big Brother also drew 471,000 an hour later on C4+1 as viewers caught up with the Last Legs Task, where housemates pretended to be in an old peoples home for retired celebrities.

Based on viewing figures for the same show last year, where 2.96m (12.7%), 285,000 (C4+1) tuned in. Ratings are still up overall for the night thanks to the catch up channel C4+1. Tonight's highlight show is on even earlier (8pm) due to the movie Slumdog Millionaire being shown at 9pm.

CBB7: Day 5 Viewing Figures

Celebrity Big Brother 7 viewing figures slid below the three million figure last night as 2.9 million viewers (14.3% audience share) tuned in. This was down slightly on Day 4 and just 100,000 down on last year where Day 5's show was screened on a Tuesday. This year the show had 1.2% more audience share as housemates took part in a strange male beauty contest, parading around in Borat style mankinis.

CBB7: Celebrity Big Brother Day 9 Viewing Figures

Last night's highlights from CBB7 was Channel 4's most watched programme once again with almost 3m watching Alex and Jonas run around the Big Brother garden naked and the nominations taking place.

The reality show pulled in 2.9m viewers (15%) at 10pm with another 202,000 on C4+1. Up on the Monday for the 2009 Celebrity Big Brother - 2.21m (9.3%), 310,000 (C4+1) as this final series continues to pull in the viewers for Channel 4. Bosses of the programme have turned the heat up by announcing there will be a double eviction Friday.

CBB7: Double Eviction Viewing Figures

Day 26: Davina McCall entering the Big Brother house during the Double Eviction proved to be a ratings winner as viewers continued tuning in for the final series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Ivana Trump became the sixth housemate to be evicted in the 9pm programme, with 3.3 million viewers and a 13% audience share, while another 327,000 watched on Channel 4+1. The seventh eviction came with a twist as Nicola T was called to the Diary Room and told to leave the Big Brother house, then Davina McCall entered the house in Nicola's costume. An impressive 2.6 million viewers (19% share) stayed up after 11pm with another 113,000 viewers on C4+1 an hour later.

CBB7: Day 24 Viewing Figures

Celebrity Big Brother continued with good TV ratings last night as Ivana won a fake award, gave an acceptance speech and saw her new award smashed by Stephanie in a Task.

Almost 3 million tuned in (2.95m and 11.9% audience share) to watch Alex get a fake tan spray from Jonas and Nicola. The 9pm programme was Channel 4's second most watched programme of the day - the return of Shameless at 10pm was seen by almost 3.5m.

CBB7: Double Eviction Viewing Figures

Friday's Celebrity Big Brother Double Eviction programme was watched by 3.1 million viewers, (12% audience share), with another 230,000 on Channel 4 +1.

In the later programme, actor Stephen Baldwin and singer Sisqo were interviewed by Davina McCall and 2.8 million viewers (15% share) tuned in, another 159,000 watched on Channel 4 +1.

Saturday (Day 21) - 2.1 million viewers, a 9% share, in the 9pm hour, with another 394,000 watching on C4+1.

Sunday (Day 22) - 2.5m (8%) viewers, as Nicola completed the Tree of Temptation task. A further 478,000 watched on C4 +1.

CBB7: Day 23 Viewing Figures

Big Brother shows no sign of losing viewers in the final week as 2.6 million viewers and a 10% share tuned in at 9pm. Celebrity Big Brother attracted another 534,000 on Channel 4 +1, as the latest highlights showed Dane and Jonas enjoying a lads night in without the other housemates knowing. Housemates also had to endure being chained up together.
