BB9: Poll - Which Housemate Would You Bring Back? - Result

Rebecca has been voted overwhelmingly as the BB9 housemate you would bring back to the house. Rebecca Shiner was the clear favourite with over 50% of the vote on 48 votes, with many feeling Bex shouldn't have been voted out on Friday ahead of Mohamed.

First week evicted housemate, Stephanie proved popular with BBBS readers, who voted her the second favourite to make a return to BB9 with almost 20% of the vote. Jennifer was close behind her on 15% of the total vote to secure an all female Top 3.

Alexandra was fourth with 6% of the vote, with some wanting her back to fire things up again, Mario and Belinda gained just 3 votes each, while Sylvia and Dennis failed to win any fans from the Big Brother Blog Squad readers!

Alexandra admitted she had been a bit hot headed at times, but maintained her views on certain issues as she presented herself in a respectful way. BB9: New Housemate To Be Added

The housemates think there could be a new person added to the BB9 house to replace Alexandra, who was booted out last night. Rebecca thinks it could be someone from Ireland, where as Luke said "I don't want a new housemate". He told housemates he was ready to explode but was restraining himself.

Big Brother has confirmed the live show will go ahead on Friday, even though the planned eviction was cancelled after Alexandra consistently broke house rules. A new housemate will be added according to Channel 4.

Meanwhile in BB9 gossip, the housemates heard a group of girls shouting "We love you Kat" and "Cookie power" over the garden wall. The housemates were then called inside the house and Michael asked Kat how she felt about hearing the fans. A blushing Kat said she was pleased but hoped no-one was offended, she chatted to Rex saying she was worried what people thought of her.

Darnell believes housemates are faking it and hiding what they really think, he claimed he had seen this situation so many times before in the outside world. He cited Rebecca as an example when she called him a "beast" on the first night but has since hidden her true feelings.

Mario and Lisa were not pleased with Rex for taking control of the luxury shopping list, so changed a few items without him noticing - expect sparks to fly later!

BB9: Alexandra Kicked Out of Big Brother House

Alexandra has been booted out of the Big Brother house for 'repeatedly breaking the programme's rules on conduct by behaving in an unacceptable and sometimes intimidating manner towards fellow housemates' according to the official website.

Alex was heard to make apparently intimidatory comments about her intentions on leaving the House after last night finding out she was up for the public vote.

She said she wanted to go with a bang - and she certainly has. Now she joins Emma, who got kicked out by Big Brother for bad behaviour in a previous series.

Here is a section of the conversation Big Brother found to be the final step for Alexandra with her 'gangster' talk, resulting in her being booted off Big Brother:

22.17pm Darnell: "Sylvia is keeping it real, said if it had been me, I'd have thrown water over somebody."

Alex: "I'm not throwing water at anyone. It's bigger than that. This is three months, do you know what I mean? Three months in a house.

"Everyone's got to come outside the house. Personal offence is never forgotten, do you know what I mean? We're just inside the house.

"I've got a very, very, very, very, very strong team outside the house, strong, so solid, strong. I look forward to whatever the result.

"If I get out first, I get out, make the plans. Everyone's got to come out after that. Every single one of you come out afterwards, remember I told you. Like I say, my team is strong, so strong."

22.20pm Alex: "I just can't wait to see my mans and them and see what their plans are, who they got...I'm not talking about those mans, I'm talking about my gangster friends."

Darnell: "Collabos."

Alex: "They got some instructions to follow out."

22.30pm Darnell: "That's what I mean...I've never seen anything like this, the people in here aren't real. It's like that movie s , like movie people in here."

Alex: "If you go, you get to make all the plans that you wanna make. When you're in here you can't do certain things. In my life I'm used to doing certain things.

"You know people p*** me off and I do something like. I can't actually do that while I'm here. But like I say, I get to go out, see everyone's friends, I get to see their family. I get to do the s*** that I wanna do. Pow, pow, pow."

BB9: Day 13 - Alexandra and Mario Face Eviction

Big Brother's Alexandra and Mario will face the public vote as their housemates nominated and they both had the most votes.

Looks like Alexandra will face eviction if the public get their way, she was declared the 'most unpopular housemate EVER'. If Mario stays, he will think his 'fan club' have voted in their millions too keep him in the BB9 house!

BB9: Day 12 - Alexandra Attacks Mohamed

Big Brother 9 was thrown into more termoil as Alexandra verbally attacked Mohamed over his birthday party. She was angered after over hearing Big Brother asking Mohamed in the Diary Room who had and hadn't joined in the party.

Challenging Mohamed outside in the Ashtray, she let her feelings be known that she was not happy at being singled out. Alex also made her feelings known about Mohamed's choice to dress in women's clothes.

Sylvia came into the garden and Alex ranted, "We're trying to have a conversation". Sylvia replied "Don't start on me". Mohamed couldn't help but smile at the whole situation and then Big Brother called Alexandra to the Diary Room as sound was suspended from the Big Brother house.

So much for waiting until tomorrow Alex!

BB9: Day 12 - Mohamed's Birthday Causes Rifts

Mohamed's birthday celebrations have already caused rifts within the Big Brother house as Alexandra and Sylvia refused to dress as boys and Luke decided not to dress as a woman.

Michael (pictured left) and Rachel quickly entered into the spirit of things with Rachel helping Michael into one of her bikini's - but will they be the only one's dressing up for the party?

Dale and Jennifer were too busy on the sofa whispering to even be bothered about getting ready for Mohamed's party.

BB9: Eviction Viewing Figures

The first eviction from the Big Brother 9 house was watched by 3.5m viewers (with 4.5m watching the last 15 minutes), as Stephanie McMichael became the first to leave the house. Channel 4 bosses will also be pleased as the figures were up 200,000 on last years first eviction.

Although over 500 complaints have been lodged against BB9, the current series is holding up well in the viewing stakes, even against Euro 2008. Stephanie's exit interview was watched by 2.6 million, with another 125,000 watching an hour later on C4+1.

Housemates spent the day being nice to each other as nominations were being made, Alexandra said she didn't mind if her name got called out for the public vote. She said she would be "up for it" and wouldn't change who she was just to stay in the BB9 house.

BB9: Day 12 - Alexandra To Become Popular?

A new week in the Big Brother house so could we see Alexandra becoming popular?

Hated by the nation last week for her choice of words and constant arguing, Alex could be turning the corner this week if she plays the game well. Big Brother will do their best to keep Alexandra in because she is the main talking point in the BB9 house. Plus the housemates and public quickly forget the arguments from a week ago and just remember the troubles from yesterday. Alexandra has been clever in turning several housemates against each other in a bid to divert attention away from herself.

BB9: Day 11 - Alexandra Stirs Trouble Again

Alexandra loves to stir things in the Big Brother 9 house, if she's not arguing over chips, she is stirring things between housemates.

Her latest plan has been to stir things up between Mohamed and Rex - the two have been getting on better since Stephanie's eviction and Rex has been feeling down at losing her. Mohamed offered support and Alexandra noticed they were getting on well, and proceeded to tell Mohamed he was acting like Rex's dog and allowed himself to be spoken down too.

This follows on from her attacks on Mohamed last night where she said he had "no character".

BB9: Day 9 - Alexandra Tops Annoying Poll

Alexandra has been the Big Brother housemate with the most headlines this week as she sparked viewer complaints as she confronted various housemates. Even here on Big Brother Blog Squad, Alex topped the week long poll with 57% of the total vote as we found out who annoyed you the most in the BB house.

This afternoon Alexandra told housemates she didn't want to be confrontational all the time and just wants to have fun, but lets see how long the "new" Alex lasts!

BB9: Day 7 - Housemates Fail Task, Threaten To Strike!

Big Brother is facing a strike by housemates after the sixteen hopefuls spent the day moaning at the lack of food. To add insult to misery, Dennis and Rachel failed the 'Shopping Budget' task with Alex quitting the task as the rest of the housemates received electric shocks during the buzzer task.

The housemates may end up taking their batteries out of their microphone packs in protest at having to go hungry. Instead of gaining £10 a day for winning the task, each housemate will only have £1 a day to spend on food.

BB9 - Day 7 - Jennifer and Stephanie Dress Sexy!

Late last night Jennifer and Steph stripped off down to skimpy sexy outfits as they impersonated the Cheeky Girls. No one else took up Jennifer's invitation to join in, but the bubbly Kat loved it as she screamed out "Cheeky Cheeky!" Worried the outfits might make them look like tarts, the girls sought reassurance - which Lisa gave. Mario disagreed and said they looked like tarts, promptly being told to "shut up" by Steph.

An argument in the Big Brother house couldn't pass without Alexandra joining in - this time she sided with Mario.

BB9: Day 5 - Food Wars

Big Brother contestant Rex was drawn into a 'Food Wars' battle as Alexandra wants the group to vote that chef Rex should do all the BB cooking. Her rant follows Rebecca's attempt at cooking dinner this evening.

Alexandra described the chips as "disgusting" and demanded Rex should take control of the kitchen. Looks like tempers as well as food could be flying in the next few days.

Meanwhile, Mario and Lisa got to enjoy a birthday treat in the Diary Room with strawberries and cream - which Mario managed to get all over his face! The 'Rocky' theme blasted out as Mario celebrated his 43rd birthday, but all was not well in the BB house as Mario faced the cold shoulder from certain housemates.

BB9: Day 4 - Wedding Goes Ahead

The secret task has involved the on/off wedding between Mario and pretend girlfriend Stephanie. Already facing being rumbled by the housemates, and calling the wedding off a few hours before it was due to take place.

The wedding finally went ahead this afternoon, despite Alexandra. "I think we all know how I feel," she blurted. "I contest. I feel this is a sham. It's been given to us in a task format. I don't this it is a strong enough bond. It's a sham."

Dennis: I'm Not Raging!

As Dennis put his dancing skills to use on the girls, he soon formed a harem of female housemates around himself. Within minutes, they were discussing who they fancied. Alexandra fancies all of Hanson, while Dennis likes dark haired men who are gay but straight acting. He then went on to point out he wasn't a raging gay - Ummmmmm yeah, OK!
