BB9: Big Brother Double Eviction Viewing Figures

The Big Brother Double Eviction of Kathreya and Mohamed on Tuesday proved to be a ratings winner for Channel 4, with 4 million watching as Davina McCall revealed that Kathreya would be the second housemate evicted.

The earlier highlights show at 8pm attracted 3.3m with 299,000 watching an hour later on C4+1, while the 10pm interviews with Mo and Kat had viewing figures of 3.7m. The shock evictions were also watched by another 131,000 viewers an hour later.

BB9: Day 90 VIDEO - Mohamed's Best Bits

Mohamed became the 12th housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother 9 house as part of the Double Eviction. Mo was suddenly evicted as the housemates were enjoying a party during the Impersonation Task.

BB9: Day 90 - Mo Eviction Shocker

Big Brother evicted Mohamed as part of a Double Eviction shocker tonight, while housemates had been enjoying the Impersonate Me Task the public had been voting for who they wanted to win Big Brother 9. Mohamed had just 1.8% of the current vote so became the 12th housemate to face the boot, just missing the final.

The two housemates with the least votes would be evicted in the surprise eviction ahead of this Friday's Final. The house was stunned as Davina McCall made the unexpected announcement, with Kathreya bursting into tears.

BB9: Day 90 POLL - Mo and Kat Favourites In Double Eviction

Mohamed and Kathreya seem to be the favourites to go in tonight's Big Brother Double Eviction. The BBBS Poll has both housemates in the last two places so far in the voting and other internet polls have Mo and Kat as the most likely to go.

Later this evening the two housemates with the LEAST votes will be evicted from the Big Brother House in a surprise Double Eviction. At the moment Sara has become the favourite housemate to WIN Big Brother as the Australian tops several internet polls, with voters then being split between Rex and Rachel.

BB9: Day 89 - Mo and Sara Win Masterchef Task

Mohamed and Sara had reason to smile after winning the Masterchef Task, as judged by Rex. He declared to the house, "I think, without any shadow of a doubt, I'm actually really impressed with Mohamed and Sara's food."

The real chef went on to tell the group, "I thought it was absolutely brilliant. I think they followed my instructions very carefully, and even added some of their own flair to it, which I thought was very good. Outstanding food, I would say."

Darnell and Kat did not receive such glowing comments for their efforts, "It's extremely lumpy. It looks like it's got foreign objects in there," Rex told them as he inspected their food.

Michael and Rachel also came under attack, "Presentation's a little bit sloppy," Rex moaned as their steak was a little too rare and blue!

Big Brother awarded Mo and Sara with trophies as the Big Brother Executive Chef of the Year.

BB9: Day 89 VIDEO - Greedy Mo Strikes Again!

Mohamed must have got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning, first he broke the coffee percolator and then managed to get into an argument with Sara as he refused to share his cigarettes with her.

Sara branded Mo greedy, which led the housemate to perform a sing and dance about being called "Greedy Mo". Finally Mohamed gave Sara a cigarette before he broke the bad news about smashing the percolator.

BB9: Day 88 - Darnell Demands New Rosette Picture

Darnell refused to wear his Head of House rosette as part of today's task because he didn't like his picture. He took up the issue with current Head of House Mohamed.

Mo re-read the laminate and passed it to Darnell, highlighting the "severe consequences" for any leader who would not wear their rosette.

Mikey reminded Darnell that he had been happy to wear the picture during his reign.

"But I was just happy to get my rosette," explained Darnell as he was called to the Diary Room.

He emerged later, happily declaring: "They’re gonna put another one on there."

"You’re the Big Brother baby," laughed Mo.

"They’re just making sure I’m smiling in here," continued Darnell, as he collected the same rosette from the hatch, complete with a new picture stuck on top on the original.

BB9: Day 88 - Rex Digs Into Rachel Over Picture

The Heads of House have gathered to have their special Sunday dinner - but Rex couldn't help himself from having a dig at Rachel.

"Wow, what happened to that girl in the picture?" Rex asked, looking at the photo of Rachel on her rosette, taken before she entered the House.

"Yeah, exactly," mumbled Mohamed.

Rachel looked hurt. "I don't have to dress up every day, do I?"

"No, but that doesn't really look like you," replied Rex.

"It does, when I dress up and wear makeup and do my hair," insisted Rachel. "Not in here it doesn't, 'cause I don't make an effort."

"That's not what you said in your VT," Rex said pointedly. "You said you make an effort every day."

Michael jumped to Rachel's defence. "No, she said she didn't wear make-up every day. She doesn't have to."

"I came in here to enjoy the Big Brother experience," added Rachel, "not to look pretty for you guys."

"I wouldn't want you to look pretty for me, Rachel," replied Rex scornfully.

"I wouldn't want you to look pretty for me anyway," echoed Mohamed.

"Exactly, so stop going on about it," Rachel concluded sweetly.

BB9: Day 85 - Kat Upset Mohamed Nominated Rachel

The Face To Face Nominations had a strong effect on certain housemates and Kathreya was one of them. Although she was not even nominated by any of the housemates, she was annoyed that Mohamed voted for Rachel.

Two weeks ago Kat and Mo ended up in the BB Jail for talking about nominations as Kat confronted Mohamed over a comment he made about "tripping up" people in order to make the final. Mo had told Kat he would not trip up Rachel or herself.

As the pair were in the Luxury Bedroom, Mohamed shouted out, "Kathreya's upset I nominated Rachel."

"No, I'm not," Kathreya shot back. "I'm upset that you lied to me."

Mohamed shrugged: "I did tell her I might trip somebody."

"Yeah," retorted Kathreya, "and you said, for the people who are your friends, you will never trip them."

"She upset me," Mohamed explained, "So I had to trip her."

Seems like you can't trust your friends in the Big Brother house.................

BB9: Day 84 - New Vegas Task Revealed

Head of House Mohamed was called to the Diary Room to collect the second part of this weeks Shopping Task as part of the Las Vegas Task.

"For the second part of this week's shopping Task, housemates must gamble away the total of £280 on the slot machines. In order to pass, housemates will have two hours in which to gamble away all £280 and any winnings they accrue. Big Brother will provide housemates with £280 in 10p coins."

BB9: Day 82 - Mohamed Becomes Head of House

Instead of being the last chance for housemates to stick the knife in and nominate their way to the final, Big Brother got them to vote for the new Head of House. Sworn to keep the secret, everyone apart from Kat kept the plan under wraps. Later the housemates gathered on the sofas to hear the result.

"Today housemates have been voting to elect the final Head of House," announced Big Brother.

"Big Brother can reveal that the final Head of House, who is immune from eviction and guaranteed a place in the final week is Mohamed."

On hearing his name, Mohamed remained motionless. But the rest of the housemates whooped and cheered, surrounding him with a flurry of high-fives and back slaps.

So Mo's in charge after getting four nominations from the other housemates. Kat narrowly missed out with three; Rachel, Darnell and Lisa got two and Sara, Michael and Rex got one nomination each.

But get ready for another twist on Wednesday night as an extra Big Brother programme has been slotted in at 23:00................

BB9: Day 80 - Rachel Calls Mo A Jerk

Rachel finally spoke out and told Mohamed exactly what she thought of him. She had left her sun lounger unoccupied for a short while but upon returning found Mohamed lying on it.

"Mo can I have my sun lounger back?" said Rachel as she returned to the Garden from the Living Area.

"Go and get your own," muttered Mohamed.

"Come on Mo, I've been waiting for the sun all day," replied Rachel getting cross.

"No," said Mohamed firmly. "You weren't lying on it for ages."

"I think you're a jerk," concluded Rachel.

"Did you just call me a jerk?" asked Mohamed.

"Yes, and I meant it as well," replied Rachel. "I hurt my leg dragging that sun lounger this morning and now you've just come along and threw my towel off. That's being nasty and I didn't think you would do that. Don't worry, I'll remember," she added.

BB9: Day 79 - Housemates Protest For Mohamed

Housemates were given a Task by Big Brother which involved making banners and wearing "Free Mo" t-shirts. If they successfully campaigned for Mohamed's release then he would be set free from the Big Brother Jail.

Mo was thrown into the BB Jail for talking about nominations once again, and added to this he became unpopular with certain housemates after he stole cans of cider yesterday. Let's just say, not all housemates campaigned hard for his release. Nicole declared the task was "boring", while Mohamed said it was the best task yet.

The remaining housemates chanted "Greedy Mo! Let him go!" shouted Nicole and Rex.
"Save Mo's afro!" shouted Mikey. "Mo was set up!"
"Free Mo!" cheered Rachel, "free Mo!"
"We love Mo!" said Kat, "we love Mo!"
"Mo was set up!" shouted Mikey.
"Get Mo out!" shouted Rex.

Yet, Big Brother failed to be impressed by the efforts of the housemates and informed the house that they had failed in their Task. Mohamed would remain in Jail until further notice.

BB9: Day 79 - Kat Calls Lisa "Two Faced"

Who would have thought a few cans of cider could cause so much division? Yet tension in the house deepened after a "two-faced" Lisa left Kat upset.

Mohamed had earlier rowed with Nicole over missing cider and the group spent most of the evening talking about the incident or falling out with each other.

Kat told Rachel and Darnell that she was disappointed with the way Lisa had acted during the argument.

She said: "I was very upset by the way Lisa let Mo get attacked. Then she sucked up to him after everyone else had left. That’s two-faced!"

The incident is not the first sign of tension between Kat and Lisa. The pair argued as Nicole entered the house and Kat described Lisa as "scary" last week. Kat has never been a fan of Lisa and has made her views known to the "group" about Lisa and Sara.

Mohamed told Nicole last night that he did not nominate her this week, therefore breaking a fundamental rule of Big Brother. He was not going to get off lightly and the C4 video below features Mo in the Diary Room getting the bad news:

BB9: Day 78 - Sara In Tears Because Of Darnell

Darnell and Sara ended up being drawn into the Cidergate drama, Sara had been talking to Mohamed in the garden, reassuring him, "I swear to God, if I wasn't up for eviction, you could have my cider - I wouldn't even care", when Darnell came storming towards them.

"Darnell, don't hit anything," Mohamed warned.

But Darnell exploded, "You guys are ******* crazy!"

When Mohamed protested, Darnell said it wasn't just him: "You, Sara... it's just unreal."

"So what have I done, Darnell?" Sara asked, hurt.

"Just the way people act," the songwriter went on. "I don't think anybody notices how people can wind **** up and turn it into a situation."

After her argument with Darnell, Sara spent over an hour in the Diary Room crying. She then revealed to Big Brother how upset she was with the way Darnell had been acting towards her. He has been making negative comments toward her for the last couple of days and it seems to have finally taken it's toll on the Aussie.

"I don't feel like I've even said anything wrong at all," she wailed. "I don't know what's up with him. I don't feel like I've done anything to deserve this treatment - I really don't!"

Big Brother asked softly, "Have you tried explaining to Darnell - "

But Sara immediately interrupted him. "As if I could try to do that!" she cried. "As if! I can't even open my mouth to say hello -- imagine if I tried to explain something to him. God!"

Then Big Brother asked, "Do you think Darnell knows how he's making you feel?"

"He must!" Sara insisted. "You can't treat someone like that for them not to be upset. You'd have to be a rock. And the thing is, you can't say anything or else he's in your face."

BB9: Day 78 - Greedy Mo Strikes Again!

Earlier, Rex told Nicole that he'd ordered nothing on the shopping list except for cigarettes, alcohol and one banana. But when the shopping arrived, there was plenty of food available -- and Mohamed began hoovering it down, before grabbing plenty of cider.

"Where are all the ciders?" Nicole demanded, and Rex soon took up her cause: "Where are all the ciders?" he asked Mohamed.

"I took four for myself," Mo confessed.

But Rex was adamant that Mo shouldn't have any: "Only the girls are drinking tonight," he explained to Mohamed. "I'm not drinking."

"Listen - " Mo began.

"Oh, just have them!" Nicole exploded to the toy demonstrator. "You're so greedy."

"Whoo, greedy Mo!" Mohamed whooped, turning back to the fridge.

"Mo's taken five," Nicole told Rex crossly.

"I took four," Mohamed insisted again, asking why he shouldn't.

"Because they're mine!" Nicole demanded. "And I'm going tomorrow, so why the hell should you get them? You should get them on Monday!"

The row escalated, with Nicole and Rex both calling Mohamed an idiot and yelling at him in a huge confrontation.

"Why are you shouting at me?" he protested, before saying he'd give Nicole the ciders - at which point Nicole ran into the luxury bedroom and sobbed for a while.
Mohamed came in and gave her the drinks, but she snubbed him and then ran out into the living area again.

"He's the biggest idiot!" she sobbed to the other housemates. "He is just the nastiest person. He's just disgusting. I can't wait to go."

And then she told Rex: "I can't wait to get out of this House -- it's full of absolute *****!"

BB9: Day 78 - Mo Upset By Rex's Comment

Remember how Mohamed traded in a pair of pants (leaving him just two pairs) for a pair of shoes the other week? Well it looks like the lack of pants has come back to bite him on the bum (so to speak)!

Mohamed appeared upset last night after comments made by Rex.
Rex returned from the Diary Room with some new underwear as Big Brother had confiscated some of his own. He suggested that the housemates play a game to win the pants.

"Mo wants them," he joked. "You should. You've stank. You wear them every day - mud-coloured, bogie's..."

He went on to ask Mohamed which underwear he was wearing now, laughing as Mo showed him."Well that was an easy guess," he remarked. "That was too funny."

However, Mohamed seemed unhappy at the comments and told Rex that he didn't want to play the game to win the pants. "You keep them," he added."But you stink!" Rex replied.

Mohamed simply said: "Thank you", before retreating to the luxury bedroom where he sat on his bed alone.

BB9: Day 76 - Mo Tries To Share Bed With Rachel

Mohamed and Rachel disagreed last night after he asked to get into bed with her and Kathreya.

When he asked her to move up so that he could talk to them, she refused."Not on my side," she warned him. "I haven't got a bra on. I'm in my PJs. I wouldn't feel comfortable with you in bed."

When Kathreya asked why Mohamed wanted to get into bed with them, he claimed that he had been joking.
"I'd never want to be in the same bed as Rachel," he announced. "She farts too much."
"Stop saying that!" Rachel replied, getting annoyed. "It's starting to bug me. Just 'cause I did it twice. Loads of people do it more times than me."

She added that Mohamed complained that she picked on him, but he was doing the same. "Just 'cause it's me you keep going on about it," she observed. "You always say: 'You only tell me to do this'. Well, you only keep winding me up."

The pair later moved to the kitchen, where Mohamed irritated Rachel by throwing chickpeas at her.
