Big Brother's Big Beard Speaks Out:

"Groups are forming in the BB9 house with Sylvia orchestrating
one group, being joined by Dennis, Jennifer, Dale, Rex and Rebecca. Another
group consists of Mario, Lisa and Michael with floaters Mohamed and Luke.
Darnell, Kathreya and Rachel are the three housemates that refuse to be locked
into a group. Stuart is likely to side with Sylvia's group, forming the dominant
players in the house.

The group dynamics spell danger for Michael and Mohamed in the
nominations on Monday after Sylvia (as the dominant female) caused friction, and
swayed her group away from Mohamed and Michael. This should mean she will escape
nomination but opinions change quickly in the BB9 house and the weekend will
bring plenty of new gossip to change housemates views.

While Sylvia uses her friendships in the house to spread
gossip and sway opinions, Luke has managed to flit between all the housemates
without causing friction as he blends his quirky personality with fact finding.
The best 'romance' in the house has to be between Luke and Rebecca, they don't
need a room when they get out of the BB house - they need their own TV
show!"

BB9: Day 17 - Jennifer In Love Triangle?

Big Brother are being evil this year by putting Stuart into the house, because it is confusing poor Jennifer. Who does she really like?

Remember back in the first few days in the BB9 house, she confessed to liking Dale and then Dale got closer to Jennifer. It looked like love, but Jennifer kept the boundary limits and kept it limited to whispers and late night chats. Of course she thought Dale was buff when he was topless and the only housemate worth getting it on with.

Then Big Brother added Stuart, a 25 year old hunk with attitude and personality - real competition for Dale. Instantly Jennifer was captivated by Stuart and within 24 hours has already distanced Dale, in a conversation with Luke. She said, "Everyone must be under the assumption that Dale and I must be together, It's starting to really wind me up".

BB9: Day 17 - Housemates Reaction To Stuart

As Stuart spends his first night in the BB9 house, the other 14 housemates went into paranoia overload -

Jennifer's eyes nearly popped out of her head when she first saw Stuart, she was also the first to be called to the Diary Room for her initial reaction. Dennis looked like he wanted to leave the house as he eyed up the new housemate, but soon cheered up when the champagne arrived saying, "I like you already".

Conspiracy theories were flying around the BB9 house within minutes. Rex and Dale thought Stuart could be part of the production team. Luke did his best to stir things up by saying to Dale that Jennifer seems to like Stuart and that he looked hot.

Sylvia pounced on Jennifer when she came out of the Diary Room to find out what she had been asked by Big Brother and what she had told them, she was quick to ask her what she thought of Stuart.

Rebecca thinks he could be lying as she says Stuart mentioned the Buzzer Task, even though she hadn't mentioned it - now she is paranoid that the public hate her.

Darnell was quiet throughout but stood near Dale and Luke listening to what they had to say, he was the last BB9 housemate to introduce himself.

Dale said in the ashtray to Mohamed, Rex and Bex, "The last thing I want to do is compete for a girl...... as soon as he arrives the girls are all wet. They go and wave a big dick in front of my face!"



Rebecca replied, "He's all over Luke, bumming him."

BB9: Day 16 - New Housemate Revealed

The new housemate added to Big Brother 9 has been revealed as Stuart, who surprised the other 14 housemates by entering the house late this evening.
Stuart has done nude modelling, and would find it most insulting to be called ugly. As well as having a five year old daughter, Stuart is single for the first time ever.

People will "either love me or hate me", according to the Channel 4 website and it will be interesting to see how the housemates react to the latest addition to the BB9 house. Could we see more divisions in the camp?

BB9 - Day 16 - Sylvia Stirs Up Trouble

Sylvia has been the one to stir up trouble in the BB9 house since Alexandra's eviction. Earlier today she had claimed Mohamed had asked her to pretend they were a couple - although the evidence may prove otherwise. Then she turned her attention to Michael, he had been complaining about certain housemates making too much noise late into the night.

Sylvia saw an opportunity to exploit the argument and grab as much attention as possible by crying in front of the other housemates and soon had Rebecca, Dennis, Dale and Darnell captive by saying she had been singled out. Michael was left to tell Mohamed his side of the story, but it was Sylvia who proved most effective - ensuring nominations would be heading Michael's way instead of hers!

"It's only been two weeks since the 16 housemates first entered the BB9 house yet it's been drama all the way. Alexandra became the most unpopular housemate EVER, Mario the most deluded (with his millions of fans!) and Dennis bitch fight back fired, almost earning him the public vote this week.

Kathreya is every one's favourite to win, but I'd like to see Luke win instead. When he first entered the BB house I thought he might be really opinionated but Luke has been the star of BB9, making great viewing every time he is in the Diary Room. Kat seems to be trying too hard, I'll be sick of "Cookie Power" by Day 60, Luke just comes out with one gem after another.

Rachel is such a lovely housemate, although I doubt she can win - she deserves to be in the BB9 house until the end. Another housemate that has changed for the better in my opinion is Rebecca, at first she appeared to be so loud but with each passing day Bex makes me laugh more and more. I'd love the final to be between Luke and Rebecca - what a great final that would make.

Mohamed, Michael and Darnell have all failed to impress me, a bit weak and need to develop some balls and become more assertive. At least Rex speaks his mind and has proved he is not afraid of conflict - Dennis should take a few tips, as his house meeting recently failed to light the fireworks. Sylvia is still a snake in the grass, even with Alexandra out of the way she is playing the game and I'm sure she is playing housemates against each other.

Dale and Jennifer just bore the pants off me with their on/off "romance", neither of them have any substance and only their good looks might save them from the public vote in the coming weeks. It's only a matter of time before Mario gets voted out of the BB9 house - but it wouldn't surprise me if housemates spare him next week, fearing his perceived popularity outside the house.

Lisa will survive with Mario and will still have Michael as support, but will interact more easily with the remaining housemates than Mario would. Michael will have to face the public vote one day - it will be hard to decide when he must go. This week he seems to have gone into his shell more, we need to see the more lively Micky if he stands any chance of surviving.

Best task so far has been the Buzzer Task - shocking but oh so very very funny!"

BB9: Day 15 - Rebecca Ends Up In Jail

Mischievous Rebecca became the first housemate to be sent to the Big Brother jail after she opened up one of the mystery gifts selected in this weeks shopping.

To make matters worse, Rebecca was summoned to the Diary Room for making a protest sign out of nail varnish - which Big Brother promptly confiscated and told her off. With temperatures dropping, it could be a long cold night for Bex if Big Brother keep her in the jail.

Just to twist the knife in even more, one of the other mystery gifts is a record token - what the BB9 housemates don't know is, the record will be Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart". The karaoke song Rebecca had to sing constantly during the Japanese Task will be played three times.

BB9: New Housemate To Be Added

The housemates think there could be a new person added to the BB9 house to replace Alexandra, who was booted out last night. Rebecca thinks it could be someone from Ireland, where as Luke said "I don't want a new housemate". He told housemates he was ready to explode but was restraining himself.

Big Brother has confirmed the live show will go ahead on Friday, even though the planned eviction was cancelled after Alexandra consistently broke house rules. A new housemate will be added according to Channel 4.

Meanwhile in BB9 gossip, the housemates heard a group of girls shouting "We love you Kat" and "Cookie power" over the garden wall. The housemates were then called inside the house and Michael asked Kat how she felt about hearing the fans. A blushing Kat said she was pleased but hoped no-one was offended, she chatted to Rex saying she was worried what people thought of her.

Darnell believes housemates are faking it and hiding what they really think, he claimed he had seen this situation so many times before in the outside world. He cited Rebecca as an example when she called him a "beast" on the first night but has since hidden her true feelings.

Mario and Lisa were not pleased with Rex for taking control of the luxury shopping list, so changed a few items without him noticing - expect sparks to fly later!

BB9: Kathreya Voted 'Most Caring' Housemate

Kathreya has been voted 'Most Caring' housemate in this weeks Big Brother Blog Squad Poll on this website. The female housemates dominated the poll, with Kat winning followed by Rachel and Jennifer.

The only BB9 housemates that didn't get any votes were Alexandra, Sylvia and Dennis - not much of a surprise after the weekend bitch fighting. None of the male housemates ranked in the Top 5, even evicted Stephanie proved more 'caring' than the likes of Luke, Dale and Mario.

BB9: Day 14 - Lisa Throws Up!

BB9 housemate, Lisa was feeling sick - not at finding Alexander had been evicted from the Big Brother house but from a stomach bug.

As housemates celebrated passing the Japanese Task with pizza and beer, Lisa was throwing up in the bathroom. Rex insisted his cooking had not been to blame, while Mario comforted her during her illness.

Finally the BB9 housemates passed a task!

The two day Japanese Task involving karaoke, karate, chop stick and language sections and was the most challenging yet. With the offer of a luxury food budget of £5 per person, per day - all the housemates gave their all to pass the task.


Rachel said she thought everyone was "spot on" in the task, adding that they should all feel proud.

BB9: Alexandra Kicked Out of Big Brother House

Alexandra has been booted out of the Big Brother house for 'repeatedly breaking the programme's rules on conduct by behaving in an unacceptable and sometimes intimidating manner towards fellow housemates' according to the official website.

Alex was heard to make apparently intimidatory comments about her intentions on leaving the House after last night finding out she was up for the public vote.

She said she wanted to go with a bang - and she certainly has. Now she joins Emma, who got kicked out by Big Brother for bad behaviour in a previous series.

Here is a section of the conversation Big Brother found to be the final step for Alexandra with her 'gangster' talk, resulting in her being booted off Big Brother:

22.17pm Darnell: "Sylvia is keeping it real, said if it had been me, I'd have thrown water over somebody."

Alex: "I'm not throwing water at anyone. It's bigger than that. This is three months, do you know what I mean? Three months in a house.

"Everyone's got to come outside the house. Personal offence is never forgotten, do you know what I mean? We're just inside the house.

"I've got a very, very, very, very, very strong team outside the house, strong, so solid, strong. I look forward to whatever the result.

"If I get out first, I get out, make the plans. Everyone's got to come out after that. Every single one of you come out afterwards, remember I told you. Like I say, my team is strong, so strong."

22.20pm Alex: "I just can't wait to see my mans and them and see what their plans are, who they got...I'm not talking about those mans, I'm talking about my gangster friends."

Alex: "If you go, you get to make all the plans that you wanna make. When you're in here you can't do certain things. In my life I'm used to doing certain things.

"You know people p*** me off and I do something like. I can't actually do that while I'm here. But like I say, I get to go out, see everyone's friends, I get to see their family. I get to do the s*** that I wanna do. Pow, pow, pow."

BB9: Day 13 - Rebecca's Boobs On BB9

Rebecca Shiner's boobs have become a focus point in the Big Brother 9 house - Darnell has sung about them, Stephanie has jiggled with them and Luke has felt them poke into him. Even outside the house Bex's boobs have been searched for by thousands of internet users and may well prove to be her saving assets when eviction time arrives.

Big Brother's Little Brother will be the programme to watch for the LIVE revelation of which housemates will be up for eviction this week. The E4 programme airs at 19:30.

BB9: Day 13 - Turning Japanese!

Big Brother 9 housemates were woken up to the sound of the Vapour's record 'Turning Japanese' and this set the tone for the day. A sumo mat was in the garden and several housemates looked like they could be having an early wrestle.

Later in the afternoon Luke was given the task by Big Brother to read to the group. The girls would be dressing up as Geisha's (no boys allowed or it would incur a fail!) as housemates had to decide which groups to go in - learning Japanese, Karate, eating with chopsticks and endurance Karaoke.

BB9: Day 12 - Alexandra Attacks Mohamed

Big Brother 9 was thrown into more termoil as Alexandra verbally attacked Mohamed over his birthday party. She was angered after over hearing Big Brother asking Mohamed in the Diary Room who had and hadn't joined in the party.

Challenging Mohamed outside in the Ashtray, she let her feelings be known that she was not happy at being singled out. Alex also made her feelings known about Mohamed's choice to dress in women's clothes.

Sylvia came into the garden and Alex ranted, "We're trying to have a conversation". Sylvia replied "Don't start on me". Mohamed couldn't help but smile at the whole situation and then Big Brother called Alexandra to the Diary Room as sound was suspended from the Big Brother house.

So much for waiting until tomorrow Alex!

BB9: Day 12 - Mohamed's Party and BB Blunder

Lisa and Mario finally entered into the spirit of things and joined in for Mohamed's birthday party. Initially Mario had refused to dress up as a woman but had a change of heart and the BB9 couple had a role reversal.

Big Brother provided cake and the housemates dressed up in each others clothes for the party, but all was not well in the Big Brother 9 house - Alexandra was NOT happy and promised to let Mohamed know how she felt.

In a blunder, Big Brother left the tanoy on as they asked Mohamed in the Diary Room , "how did it make you feel that Alexandra didn't join in?". Alexandra and the housemates were able to hear.

"Why is it always me?", Alexandra asked in disbelief as the housemates headed off to bed early before things got out of control.

BB9: Day 12 - Mohamed's Birthday Causes Rifts

Mohamed's birthday celebrations have already caused rifts within the Big Brother house as Alexandra and Sylvia refused to dress as boys and Luke decided not to dress as a woman.

Michael (pictured left) and Rachel quickly entered into the spirit of things with Rachel helping Michael into one of her bikini's - but will they be the only one's dressing up for the party?

Dale and Jennifer were too busy on the sofa whispering to even be bothered about getting ready for Mohamed's party.

BB9: Eviction Viewing Figures

The first eviction from the Big Brother 9 house was watched by 3.5m viewers (with 4.5m watching the last 15 minutes), as Stephanie McMichael became the first to leave the house. Channel 4 bosses will also be pleased as the figures were up 200,000 on last years first eviction.

Although over 500 complaints have been lodged against BB9, the current series is holding up well in the viewing stakes, even against Euro 2008. Stephanie's exit interview was watched by 2.6 million, with another 125,000 watching an hour later on C4+1.

Housemates spent the day being nice to each other as nominations were being made, Alexandra said she didn't mind if her name got called out for the public vote. She said she would be "up for it" and wouldn't change who she was just to stay in the BB9 house.

BB9: Day 12 - Darnell Opens Up

Darnell opened up to Big Brother housemates in an conversation about his life outside the BB9 house. Speaking to Rachel, Kat and Dale about his worry about losing everything once he leaves the BB9 house.

Rachel and Kat offered words of comfort and support. Rachel said she wished more guys were like him and she loved the way he used his musical talents inside the Big Brother house. Darnell said his girlfriend was an avid Big Brother viewer and so would be getting to know him more than ever before, so he was worried how he would come across on TV. Darnell was also aware that his employer could let him go if he did anything that the press didn't approve of. Dale joined in saying outside the BB house he had no money, no Uni.

BB9: Day 12 - Alexandra To Become Popular?

A new week in the Big Brother house so could we see Alexandra becoming popular?

Hated by the nation last week for her choice of words and constant arguing, Alex could be turning the corner this week if she plays the game well. Big Brother will do their best to keep Alexandra in because she is the main talking point in the BB9 house. Plus the housemates and public quickly forget the arguments from a week ago and just remember the troubles from yesterday. Alexandra has been clever in turning several housemates against each other in a bid to divert attention away from herself.

BB9: Day 12 - Housemates United

The Big Brother house was united for once as the 15 housemates joined in a game of Chinese Whispers. Not surprisingly, the story would completly change by the time it made the rounds - but at least this time no-one objected and the whispers were not malicious.

The atmosphere was good as housemates were in good spirits, despite failing yet another task. Luke was later covered in talcum powder as part of a game led by Kat. For once the Big Brother 9 house was united in harmony, with everyone joining in and enjoying the games.

BB9: Housemates Turn On Each Other

Having failed yet another task, then housemates spent the rest of the day turning on each other. Mario and Lisa were in the garden discussing the housemates saying some were "desperate to win", while Dennis called a meeting to discuss "two-faced, victimising and bullying" within the house - call a kettle black!

Jennifer was even turning on Dale earlier, questioning whether he was being genuine, Alexandra and Sylvia had spent time trying to convince Jennifer, Dennis and Dale that Rex and Mohamed were in a voting alliance against them. Alex was glad that Steph had been voted out because it split up that gang. Dale and Jennifer both said they were not in the house to fight and take sides.

With 11 days gone, the housemates have grown increasingly paranoid - get ready for more sparks to fly this week as the nominations take place and the knives are out......

BB9: Day 11 - Crisp Task

Big Brother gave the housemates a new task today - a Crisp Task with a difference. The housemates had to lick each and every crisp from a giant bowl within two hours, with a 5% error rate allowed.

Michael said he wanted to throw up as the housemates donned overalls and hair nets.

The Big Brother 9 house must have been invaded by giant moths as it appears Lisa Appleton's top has been eaten. As the picture above shows, poor Lisa has a massive hole in her top and the only explanation can be giant moths! Expect housemates to disappear as the moths get hungry!

BB9: Day 11 - Alexandra Stirs Trouble Again

Alexandra loves to stir things in the Big Brother 9 house, if she's not arguing over chips, she is stirring things between housemates.

Her latest plan has been to stir things up between Mohamed and Rex - the two have been getting on better since Stephanie's eviction and Rex has been feeling down at losing her. Mohamed offered support and Alexandra noticed they were getting on well, and proceeded to tell Mohamed he was acting like Rex's dog and allowed himself to be spoken down too.

This follows on from her attacks on Mohamed last night where she said he had "no character".
