Rex became the Head Chef in a cooking class when Big Brother declared him to be the best cook in the BB9 house. In the Diary Room, the Head Chef had to put the housemates into pairs.The House Head Chef would then teach fellow housemates how to cook Steak Béarnaise, Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans, followed by Blueberry Soufflé.
Big Brother would provide all ingredients but not the recipe. That would have to come from the Head Chef's repertoire of recipes.
The coupled-up cooks would then cook their versions of the recipe.
Once they have cooked them, the Head Chef must decide which meal is the best and the pair that made it will win a reward later today.
The pairs that Rex picked to work together were:
Sara and Mohamed
Michael and Rachel
Darnell and Kathreya
